Magrath mom and dad, Kristi and Aaron Phillips, welcomed their new son into the world 12 days early when he was born at the Lethbridge Chinook Regional Hospital at 3:24 a.m. on January 1. The seven-pound, eight-ounce little tyke was bound and determined to take top honours, not only as Magrath’s New Year’s Baby, but as Lethbridge’s as well. So he surprised his parents with an early arrival.
