Magrath Days happening July 26-28

Three days of celebrating all things Magrath begins July 26 at 6 p.m., with softball games and a movie night for those who are less athletic.
On July 27 at noon, Surex is hosting a free town appreciation barbecue.
The Ag Society County Fair, which costs $5 per car and includes mutton busting, greased pigs and wild ponies, goes from 4-6 p.m.
The Magrath Curling Club finishes off the second day with an adults-only fundraiser at 7 p.m., which includes live music, food and drinks.
Entry is $10 and each drink costs $5.
July 28 is the biggest day of festivities, beginning with a free pancake breakfast outside of Magrath Dental from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
There’s also a Fun Run starting at 8 a.m. at Magrath Trail. Those interested in participating can contact Vicki at 403-758-6187.
The annual parade starts at 11 a.m., but the line-up for it starts outside the school at 10 a.m.
After the parade, the Family Fun Rodeo begins at the Agri-Plex, which goes until 4:30 p.m.
At 12:30 p.m. is this year’s annual disc golf tournament.
Local kids Mataya Johnson, Anna Shearer, Taia Bohne, Benson and Taylee Baril, will be performing live music from 5-6:30 p.m.
The town council barbecue is at 6 p.m., with chips donated by Axia.
Lethbridge-based hard rock band Beyond Crimson will perform from 9:30-11 p.m., with a fireworks display wrapping up the weekend at Cole Field afterwards.
