News encouraging salute to health care

The Westwind Weekly News would like to encourage residents of Raymond, Magrath, Stirling and surrounding counties to stand outside their homes on Friday at 6 p.m. and applaud all health care workers for 15 seconds to thank them for their service.

“This would be a way to say thank you to doctors, nurses, hospital staff, seniors residence staff, paramedics, family doctors and their staff caring for us during COVID-19,” said Ryan McAdams, publisher of the Westwind Weekly News. “This was done in the U.K. last week and got a tremendous response.”
