Cardston County assessing corral agreement

Cardston County is considering a draft corral agreement.

At their Sept. 28 meeting, council discussed entering into a formal contract with members of a local grazing association to continue to allow holding pens which are currently constructed on a road allowance at the northeast entrance of the Pole Haven community pasture.

“Currently, these pens limit access through the road allowance, and Council wishes to ensure that permanent access is available on the road allowance. It was concluded that a legal survey be completed prior to any further action or motion being considered,” said Randy Bullock, reeve of Cardston County.
