Comets finish first portion with a win

The Raymond Comets managed to get back into the win column last week, as the season’s first portion came to a close.

After suffering a 99-78 home loss to Chinook (3-6) on Friday, Raymond came back strong the following evening in Lethbridge with an 80-64 win over Catholic Central. The win improved the Comets’ record to 3-6.

Jared Heggie’s 24 points led all scorers in the win over CCH, followed by 15 from Jonathan Keeler and a dozen from Jaxon Davison.

The Comets will face Hat High Friday in Medicine Hat.
