Magrath hockey teams post wins out on the ice

Magrath’s U9 played and came out on top of a thrilling game on the weekend in Fort Macleod.
The visitors earned a tight 7-6 win, as Kacey Blackmore scored twice and Weston Odland led the way with two goals and two assists. Tymen Allsop and Cooper Seward each chipped in with one goal and one assist. Braeden Stanford also scored, and Cody Beier and Andy Woolf each had one assist.
Raylan Owens played his first career game in net, and came out with the win.
The U11 Magrath team hosted Taber on Saturday, and came out on the short end of a high-scoring 10-7 game.
Gibson Bates (three goals and one assist) and Jase Hansen (two goals and two assists) each had four points for Magrath. Owen Stanford scored twice and Levi Zobell had one assist.
Tye Veale faced 45 shots on goal for Magrath.
Magrath’s U13 team defeated Duchess in a Saturday game in Magrath, thanks to a five-point game from Carter Harris (four goals and one assist). Tason Heath notched a hat trick and Kraden Health scored twice.
Breckynn Bates, Emma Godlonton and Hadley Wilde all had two assists each. Bronson Ripley had a goal and Railey Vandenhoek, Dayson Loose and Levi Harker had one assist each.
Reid Pelzmann took the win in net.
The U18 team won 8-5 on Saturday in Lethbridge, as Nelson Gage had two goals and two assists to lead the way. Gunner Ravoy had two goals and one helper.
Blake Roe, Logan Jensen and Brody Godlonton each had one goal and one assist. Beckham Sugai had two assists, Cruz Johnson had a goal and Kyson Johnson, Know Tame and Joseph Noad had one assist each.
Conner Schneyder secured the win in goal.
