These are just a few of the events our club took part in this year besides regular meetings.

Prairie Meats Ltd. in Coaldale let us have a tour through their whole packing plant from unloading the animal to the cut, wrapped and finished product in their retail store.

Our Club did two community services this year when we helped Micheline Stocker put up her Christmas lights and we also helped with Santa’s Gone Loonie as well as contributing to the Angel Tree at 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union.

We hosted a communication workshop in Del Bonita and all participated in public speaking in Magrath with members going on to Districts and Regionals as well.

We had informative speakers teach us about implants, CCIA and animal feeding and nutrition.

The Domolewski family of Taber hosted a great hands-on team judging demonstration in their barn.

We were privileged to be able to go tour Davis Rairdan Embryo

Transplants in Crossfield to learn about embryo transplants in cattle.

With the year wrapping up,  it is time for the Lethbridge District 4-H Show and Sale at Exhibition Park in Lethbridge.

We would like to invite community friends and family to come see how hard we have been working on our projects this year.

June 10 the heifer show starts at 1 p.m. June 11 the parade of clubs starts at 9 a.m., and the steer show at 9:30. At 2 p.m. that same day there will be a steer sale.

Our club members appreciate your continued support. Hope to you see you out.
