Posted on June 18, 2020 by admin

On June 10, the village announced that Robert Payette has resigned as chief administrative officer.

Payette had served as the village’s CAO for the past 14 months.

“During his tenure as CAO, Stirling has benefitted from his ‘big picture’ approach to future development and innovative ideas for new sources of revenue generation,” said Mayor Trevor Lewington in a statement. “Council appreciates Bob’s hard work making many needed policy and procedure improvements within administration.”

Payette’s last day will be June 30. Village council has initiated the process of seeking a replacement for the position.

“We thank Bob for his many contributions to our community during the last year and wish him all the best as he leaves to pursue new opportunities with his family in British Columbia,” said Lewington.
