Stirling council tables sign leasing policy

Changes to a Village of Stirling’s sign leasing policy are tabled, as administration completes schedule changes.

During a Village of Stirling regular council meeting Jan. 6, council discussed policy DV-02, or the Sign Leasing Management Policy.

The policy is an update to a previous village policy, which afforded the ability for sign space to be leased on village-owned locations.

“This was brought forward by administration to identify which locations council wanted added as a schedule and what fees they’d be looking to have,” said Scott Donselaar, CAO for the village.

As “minor changes” were made to the policy’s accompanying schedules, council voted to table the policy until the schedules were completed.
