One win, one loss for Raiders

The Raymond Ice Raiders were home for the weekend, taking on Kainai Friday and Pincher Creek Saturday.  

The Raiders stepped onto the ice Friday night ready to play. Raymond dominated from the start, with great defense, strong fore checking and quick saves from goaltender Quinn Miyashiro the Raiders finished with a 13-2 win. Raymond’s goals went to Reuben Baldry (5, 1 assist), Jace Edwards (2), Rylen Roersma (2, 1 assist), Ty Fraser (1,2 assists), Janx Zaremba (1,2 assist), Daxon Helgerson, and Ryder Nelson each with one.  

Assists went to Brayden Visser, Cohen Heggie, and Bella Zaremba.

Saturday morning came early for the Raiders after playing a late game and they came out tired and slow.  

Pincher Creek monopolized on that, handing the Raiders an 8-3 loss. Raymond’s goals went to Daxon Helgerson (2), and Brayden Visser (1), assists went to Ty Fraser (2).

The Raiders will have two away games this week. Go Raiders Go!
