U11 Tier 4:
The U11 Magrath Chiefs played host to Lethbridge in a tough single game Oct. 22.
Scoring began early for Lethbridge in the first, with Jase Hansen putting up the only goal for the Chiefs. The second period was all Lethbridge, and the third looked much the same as the first with Gibson Bates chalking up the Chiefs only goal for a 12-2 loss.
U13 Tier 4:
Two games were up for the U13 Chiefs on Oct. 21 and 22 where they would visit Cardston and play host to Coaldale respectively.
In their first game against Cardston, the Chiefs played an amazing game; dominating the scoreboard in the first two periods when Cardston was able to sneak one goal past for a resounding 17-1 win.
Jason Heath scored eight goals, Carter Harris scored seven and Bronson Ripley, Dayson Loose, Levi Harker, Emma Godlonton, and Railey Vandenhoek all put up singles.
Their game against Coaldale didn’t see as high of scores, but they still limited the Copperheads to a single point over the game.
Most of the scoring happened in the first period with Carter Harris putting up two goals with Tason Heath, Erik Quapp and Kraden Heath potting singles. The second period saw Harris as the only one to score and Coaldale struck back with a single goal in the third period.
U15 Tier 3:
The U15 Chiefs hosted two games on Oct. 21 and 22, chalking up a win and a loss for the eldest team.
The first game against Lethbridge Hurricanes Red saw the Chiefs as the only scorers in the game. Joseph Wilde chalked up two goals while Riley Schneyder made three.
Game two was hard-fought, and unfortunately Magrath couldn’t best Coaldale as their younger team had. Scoring went back-and-forth over most of the game, showing Bronx Hill as the first to score for Magrath.
The second period was only Coaldale with a single point, where they fought back-and-forth in the third period; Clay Christensen and Riley Schneyder chalking up goals for Magrath to end the game 4-3 for Coaldale.
